changing your scenery is brain nourishment

When we live a monotonous life, this decreases our productivity and happiness levels in ways that can be intoxicating for the soul.

How?

When we change our scenery by traveling to new places, trying new things, we improve the neuroplasticity of our brains. Neuroplasticity is when the brain renews itself by repairing old neural connections and regenerating new ones. When this happens, we’re able to learn new things with ease, remember details, and quickly recover from brain injuries.

It creates room for crazy, innovative thinking which plays a role in improving the lives of others throughout the world. Being able to learn new things, replacing old and unhealthy habits, with new and healthy ones, nourishes our mind and keeps it youthful (beginner’s mindset).
